MAX MSP/ Jitter 3 Favorites

Here are my three favorites from the Cycling74 project page:

1. Traces displays an aesthetic that combines interactive music technology and a roughly drawn DYI feel. The sound that can be created with this project is easy to the ears and has a slight feel of Aztec flute music.

2. Cata-Sopros is right up my alley. I love that the audience can manipulate the pinwheels to create sound. Each person that interacts with this piece brings their own way of making the pinwheels move, some more timid than others. I would like to see what it would be like if the sounds created were a bit more recognizable, like bird sounds or recordings of everyday events.

3. Iquisme has a mesmerizing visual effect, similar to how I feel when starring into a bonfire and feeling transfixed by it. Although, I did find the music rather sinister and dark.

Bonus one: Ok, I could not resist adding a fourth example. This video title "The Vlooper" is soothing and fun to loose yourself in. Enjoy!
