Joseph Delappe

I just spent some time reading Joseph's website. One thing that struck me is that he takes serious ills of our world and highlights them through humor and absurdity. A good example of this is the 2008 collaborative piece of a fake New York Times Newspaper. The paper content was focused on how the creators of the project would like to see our world change. A lot of people were fooled and it made them pay attention to subjects that often get overlooked. Here is the link:

In May of this yea, he created a life size predatory drone at Fresno State University with students to bring awareness of the Pakistani people who are being killed by these weapons. Obviously, this is not a humorous piece, but a memorial to wake us up to what our country is doing in our name.

I am interested to ask if he will be working on projects that focus on the abuses immigrants are facing here in the US.

One Min Video

Once I did some ruminating on the one minute video assignment, I jumped the gun and just started to experiment with my iPhone. I better get busy and start from the beginning and draw the storyboards.
I am having trouble uploading the video, so any help is welcome.
